All three of a Borgen Coming to Netflix in September 2020


    Netflix will never stop creating and releasing a huge amount of original films and series. Every month, they either release a new show or a new season. Viewers can find a lot of fresh content to keep themselves busy for a few days. Recently, Netflix has decided to launch all three seasons of Borgen on Netflix.

    Netflix to release 1-3 seasons of Borgen

    Borgen is the Danish political thriller series, which was first premiered on September 26, 2010, and DR Network. The series is scheduled to drop on Netflix in September 2020. It was first speculated to arrive in mid-June 2020 but got delayed due to some reasons.

    The political drama stars Pilou Asbæk, who played the role of  Euron Greyjoy in Game of Thrones. The other casts include Sidse Babett Knudsen, Mikael Birkkjær, Freja Riemann, Emil Poulsen, Morten Kirkskov, Iben Dorner, Hanne Hedelund, and many more. The plot follows around Birgitte Nyborg, who is Prime Minister. As she climbs the ladder of success, the power begins to corrupt her from within.

    When will all three seasons of Borgen release on Netflix?

    As per the reports, Borgen was supposed to be released on June 15th internationally. However, the dates were pushed back to June 22, and suddenly it disappeared from the streaming giant’s plan. Now, the show is coming soon once again on September 1, 2020.

    When will Borgen Season 4 release?

    After all three seasons are dropped on Netflix, the fourth season of the show will premiere in 2022. The renewal of show is a co-production between Netflix and DR Network. Some of the viewers compare this political drama with 1999s The West Wing.

    Netflix has launched numerous political shows. Some were a massive hit and some were miss, which lacked the oomph factor. Let’s hope Borgen reaches more fans and gains more fame.
