Executive Director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport Shot During Federal Raid
Bryan Malinowski, the executive director of Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, was shot during a firefight with federal agents serving a search warrant at his home on Tuesday. The 53-year-old sustained gunshot wounds and was treated on the scene before being taken to a local hospital. His condition is currently unknown.
During the raid, an ATF agent also received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was hospitalized. Malinowski’s brother, Matthew Malinowski, stated that Bryan was shot in the head and is currently on life support. Doctors are unsure if he will survive.
Neighbors reported hearing loud bangs and witnessing guns and ammunition being loaded onto a trailer from Malinowski’s home. It was revealed that Malinowski was a collector of guns, weapons, and coins, living in an upper-middle-class suburb and earning a high salary.
Just last week, Malinowski met with Arkansas senators in Washington for official airport business. The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
In Malinowski’s absence, Tom Clarke, the deputy executive director, will serve as acting executive director of the airport. The airport was renamed for former President Bill Clinton and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2012. Stay tuned to Jala News for further updates on this developing story.
