Playstation 5 Pre-Orders Has Started But There’s A Catch From Sony

Sony has just activated the customer’s online call-up for the new Playstation 5 so don’t wait to be one of the first to purchase directly from the company. In this festive season, a “small number of PS5 consoles will be eligible for preorder,” according to the company. In particular, in the middle of its rivalry with Microsoft about who will disclose first the pricing of the next-gen console, the company also needs to confirm the actual release date, availability, and other information. Later this year, the company announced the launch of the console in India.’

The invitation system is the only option right now to get the Playstation 5. As of now, only the current PlayStation customers will be able to buy the new device. “We’ll be welcoming some of our current customers to be one of the first pre-committing users for the all-new PlayStation 5,” said Sony in a statement on Monday. This is because only a few of the Playstation 5 consoles are available for the selling.

Also, if you get a request for buying the device, it is not confirmed that you will definitely get off the console. For a certain period, each invitation is eligible and the buyers need to act faster in order to get one for them. Consoles are eligible for pre-order before the stocks get over, so if you have got an invitation, then buy the device asap. Just one console can be ordered on a single order and address and that too with two different DualSense devices on each order and with some other PS5 accessories under each invitation.

In addition, to get your PlayStation 5 delivered you will need to submit one US address as this pre-order is available only for the citizens of the United States. At the moment it is not known if pre-order registrations would begin early for other countries as well or not. Because of the rising demand for gaming in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, Sony is also growing the production of the PS5  consoles to 10 million units by the end of this year.

Sony Playstation 5 will come with a powerful eight-core AMD Zen 2 Processor with a 3.5 GHz clock and a custom GPU built on the hardware of AMD RDNA 2, which provides 10.28 teraflops and 36 clocked device units of 2.23 GHz. You will also get a 16GB GDDR6 RAM and a custom 825 GB SSD in the Playstation 5. Talking about the display, then Playstation 5 has got a 4 K Blu-ray drive and also allows hard drives, although such games do need the internal SSD.
